Hey folks it’s me! I’m back in force after many many weeks away due to exams mostly, but all that’s over now, for better or for worse. I now await my marks with all the stress and dread that a student can muster…
Anyhoo, the eagle-eyed among you may have noticed something. My website has a new look! I’ve just been experimenting with it’s design and layout to better encompass what I’d like this space to be. Let me know how you guys feel about it!
I’ve recently been replaying the Mass Effect trilogy and am currently close to the end of the third game. I can easily call this trilogy the best I’ve ever played, yet it is not without its faults… More on that next time. It’s also extremely well optimised to run on many potato PC’s out there. While not entirely potato, take my laptop for example:
- Intel Core i5 7200U
- 8 GB DDR4 2133MHz RAM
- Seagate 1 TB HDD and the worst part:
- Intel HD620 graphics
So all games of the trilogy run exceptionally well in medium to high settings and I’ve only had minor frame drops in a certain oceanic section of the Leviathan DLC of ME3. I am aware its not the greatest achievement seeing as the third installment is close to a decade old, but I’m a sucker for a great story in a game and this trilogy has it in spadefuls. It’s still got decent graphics too.
Otherwise, I am technically done with my semester, but am still going to do my community-based project that is mandated by Engineering South Africa (I don’t recall their actual name) and is required to be done by all Engineering students. I look forward to it.
I am keeping this short as I am going to dive back into the rest of my upcoming posts. I have lots of content coming in the next week and more and I am excited to share it with you all!
Have a good one
